American Idol has changed so many lives. There have been so many great musicians that have come out of this show including Jennifer Hudson, Clay Aiken and Carrie Underwood. Can you imagine what music would be like without many of these artists? Even though there are several famous artists that didn't win their season, they had a chance to get their name and voice out there and many of them ended up with record deals after appearing.The contestants end up all being winner's in one way or another. Even if they don't win the season that they are on, they make a ton of money off of all of the products from the show like DVD's and CD's and even t-shirts.American Idol has definitely had its fair share of drama and controversy. There was a single mother on it not too long ago (Fantasia) and also people with sketchy backgrounds and now the fact that one of them was gay. The show seems to be a lot about not only singing, but politics, but that also may be the reason that many Americans tune in each week and keep watching.You should definitely go and and get season 8's CD or get it off of Itunes or from a friend. The front of it is really cool as well as the music inside being amazing. Kris Allen and Adam Lambert are also coming out with their albums and releasing them soon so you should check those out as well.Gay or straight, no matter, because if the product is good who cares about all the hype. And both of these albums are worth the buy, Kris Allen's debut album is called Kris Allen CD and Adam Lambert's For Your Entertainment are both scheduled to release soon and with such excellent talent coming out of Season 8 both of these albums will certainly be on the top of everyone's Christmas list
